Why she might be annoying:

She has a pierced tongue.
Her navel is pierced.
She has tattoos, including one under her navel.
For a number of weeks, she finished next to last and avoided elimination.
She is a single mom.
She was one of the few contestants to receive criticism from Paula Abdul, prompting Simon to say to Paula 'Welcome to the dark side.'
She smokes.

Why she might not be annoying:

The week before she got eliminated, she told fellow contestant Tamyra, she was finished, and was totally shocked when it was Tamyra who was eliminated and not her.
Her favorite judge was Simon because he was honest and frank.
Despite staying true to her punk roots, she was able to get the American public to vote for her long enough to just miss being in the final two.
