    He recorded all the vocals and played all the instruments on the Foo Fighters' debut album.
    He is a big fan of Tenacious D, and played drums for them on several occasions.
    He posts regularly on his website.
    He is able to poke fun at himself, as shown by their humorous music videos.
    He is one of very few artists to make a successful simultaneous switch from bands and instruments.
