Why she might be annoying:

    She was a one-hit wonder.
    Her other singles after 'When You Lie Next To Me' didn't garner airplay on country radio.
    She suffered from homesickness when she moved to California to start her music career.
    When she wasn't able to get a contract as a pop singer, she moved to Nashville, with the hopes of making it in country music instead.
    She was shunned by her manager, after she stated her desire to start a family following her ACM Award win.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She was a backup singer for Barbra Streisand, prior to branching out on her own.
    She wrote the majority of her own songs.
    She was open about her struggles with infertility and wrote the song 'I Would Die For That' in regards to her struggle.
    She was able to fulfill her dream of motherhood when she and her husband successfully conceived twice.
    She helped raise money for her hometown of Moore, Oklahoma after a tornado devastated the community (2013).
