Why Jasper, Alberta might be annoying:

It gets extremely cold during the winter months.

It is overshadowed by both Banff and Lake Louise for tourist towns in the Alberta Rockies.
When it comes to cities in Alberta, it gets dwarfed by Calgary, Edmonton and even Banff.
It is notorious for wildlife roaming around the community.

Why Jasper, Alberta might not be annoying:

It is located near the base of the Athabasca River.

It is the hub centre of Jasper National Park.
Like Banff and Lake Louise to the south, it is home to plenty of picturesque mountain scenery.
