Oddity

The Resume

    Middle name is Richard
    Lancaster, Pennsylvania resident
Arrested after getting into an altercation over his sticking 'I Did That' stickers featuring the likeness of President Joe Biden on gas pumps (March 31, 2022)
Video of the arrest was viewed over 200K times on Facebook and over 60K on YouTube

Why he might be annoying:

He put stickers that show President Biden saying 'I did that' and pointing in the direction of the total transaction on pumps throughout the Lancaster area (and sprayed the stickers with something to make them more difficult to remove).
The implication is that Biden’s policies have led to inflation and driven up American fuel costs.
The presence of the stickers have led to complaints from customers who did not see the humor in them.
The sticker campaign doesn't seem to have been thought out for the long-term (will they just peel the stickers off when the gas prices eventually go down or let him take credit for that too??)
He allegedly became irate after he was confronted by a clerk over his placing the stickers on a Turkey Hill gas station pump (and charging at her as the argument escalated).
He could be heard yelling 'Fuck you!' and 'I did that! That’s what I did!' while flailing his arms and running toward the pump in the video (before eventually being subdued by an officer).
His belligerence continued as three cops tried to shove him into the back seat of an East Hempfield patrol car, as he kicked at two of the officers.
He was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment and criminal mischief (April 4, 2022).
He was already serving two years of probation after pleading guilty to a count of retail theft in 2020 at the time of this incident.
This was the third time in the last decade he had been convicted and sentenced to probation for a retail theft offense.

Why he might not be annoying:

It's been misreported that he's the one who started the 'I Did That' sticker campaign overall (he didn't).
His actions - while politically charged - were mostly harmless and just annoying at worst.
He admitted to overreacting in the lead-up to his arrest (according to the police report).
He allegedly sustained self-inflicted injuries in the back of the police car that resulted in his being taken to the hospital.
He has received some support from irate Republicans and conservatives online.
He's the only one so far to be penalized for doing something that's been done across the United States (the stickers are even sold on Amazon).
