Why he might be annoying:

    When she first exhibited in Paris, the French fashion press derided her style as 'Hiroshima chic.'
    Many critics likened the effect of her 'Body Meets Dress -- Dress Meets Body' show (1997), featuring sheer fabrics stretched over lumpy padding, to tumors.
    She complained about critics who 'reduce fashion to wearability.'
    'New Republic' wrote, 'A person in Comme des Garçons looks like a dress with a head, not a person really.'

    She is actively involved in all aspects of her businesses, not just dress design, including advertising, graphic design, and store interiors.
    Alexander McQueen said, 'w=When you watch someone challenging themselves like she does every season, it makes you understand why you are in fashion in the first place.'
    She became the second living fashion designer (after Yves Saint Laurent in 1983) to have her dresses exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (2017).
