She says, in Europe they want dance to be new and ever changing, but in the U.S., although the audiences are incredibly open-minded, the producers don't want to take chances.
She says, the reason why dance is so extraordinarily popular in France is because Louis XIV '... made dance extremely loved in France because it was denied to the people.
And so now all the people there want it!'
