Why he might be annoying:

    He played on seven different teams during his NHL career.
    He was the second of three players with the Pouliot surname to come out of one of the CHL's umbrella leagues.
    He struggled to find his footing with the Wild, during his three years with the club.
    He never scored more then 36 points in a season, during his NHL career.
    His performance was considered lackluster, given the fact he was drafted behind Sidney Crosby, Bobby Ryan and Jack Johnson.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He earned Rookie of the Year honors during his lone full season with Sudbury of the Ontario Hockey League.
    He lost his father to leukemia a couple days after he scored his first career goal in the OHL.
    He was a member of the Rangers team that made their first Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 20 years (2014).
    He had the opportunity to become teammates with Connor McDavid, during the latter's first few seasons in Edmonton.
