Why they might be annoying:

    They were one hit wonders.
The band felt ‘Tighter, Tighter’ was too bubblegum and tried to go in a harder rock direction on subsequent singles, without commercial success.
Their name was spelled as ‘Alive and Kicking’ on the ‘Tighter, Tighter’ single, but as ‘Alive N Kickin’ on the accompanying album.
Roulette Records did not bother to include the names of the band members on their album.

Why they might not be annoying:

‘Tighter, Tighter’ was co-written and co-produced by Tommy James.
James had originally offered them the song ‘Crystal Blue Persuasion,’ but decided to record it with his own band, the Shondells.
’Tighter, Tighter’ was certified gold for sales of over a million singles.
Sudano went on to marry Donna Summer and was featured on her Top Five hit ‘Heaven Knows.’
