He's married to fellow loa Mamar Brigitte but likes chasing mortal men and women.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's a nice dresser, usually portrayed wearing a top hat and tuxedo.
He likes to tell dirty jokes.
He likes getting small gifts for his efforts, as do we all.
He scares dumb people.
There is as much empirical evidence for his existence as there is for any other god.
