Why she might be annoying:

She was crowned Miss Turkey despite spending most of her life in Netherlands.
She participated in a pageant that was run out of Abuja, Nigeria because of local Muslim objections to Miss World's 'parade of nudity.'
The pageant was subsequently relocated to London, England.
She has buck teeth.

Why she might not be annoying:

As Miss World, she raised funds for children's charities.
Before winning the title, she was the favorite of both fellow contestants and pageant odds-makers.
She won the award for Best Evening Gown.
She speaks five languages.
Her hobby is belly dancing.
After her reign, she was appointed Turkey's official tourism ambassador.
She was the first civilian female to fly over the Himalayas.
