Football Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He spent almost the entirety of his career on awful Bengals teams.
He pouted his way out of Cincinnati when the team was at the dregs of the league standings in the late 1990's.
Despite being considered a Bengal great, he spent his final NFL season with the Titans.
The 'Pickens Rule' is named after a clause Mike Brown put in his contract to allow the team to revoke his signing bonus if he slandered the organization in public.
He was arrested for domestic abuse after he assaulted his wife in an argument (January 5, 2014).

Why he might not be annoying:

He held many of the Bengals' receiving records, prior to Chad "Ochocinco"Johnson.
He was Jeff Blake's favorite target during the mid 1990's.
He was the first player in NFL history to record five receptions and a receiving touchdown in eight consecutive games.
He played both the free safety and wide receiver positions in high school before establishing himself as the latter.
He had a lot of guts to stay loyal to the Bengals during the majority of their lean years.
