Why he might be annoying:

He is not forthcoming about his real name.
He wears clothing with bright plaid patterns.
    He has a high-pitched voice.
He tends to get over-excited in interviews or when he's on air.
Since he doesn’t shy away from asking personal or silly questions, he has irritated a number of his interviewees.
In his phone interviews, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Beck, Rob Zombie, Tommy Lee and Al Goldstein are among those who’ve hung up on Nardwuar.
He loves cheese so much that he wrote a song about it.
He once had a live audience spit on him while he was on stage, and he ended up having a cold for six months.

Why he might not be annoying:

He may be the most famous college radio host in North America.
He is described as ‘the love child of Stuttering John and Terry Gross’.
He is very well researched, and often impresses his subjects with his wealth of knowledge.
He occasionally brings gifts to those he interviews. He brought juice and gin for Snoop Dogg, and hedgehog-shaped chocolates for Ron Jeremy.
He stumped Dan Quayle when he asked him ‘who is the prime minister of Canada?’ (1995).
Michael Moore said that he is a ‘national treasure.’

He was class president in his high school.
He has a history degree from the University of British Columbia.
