Why 7 Deadly Sins might not be annoying
They do not have an official sequence as the Ten Commandments.
Christian teachings divided the sins into two degrees: venial (minor) and capital (major). Through the expression of that period's European artwork, the theme of sin hit its stride in the early 1300s.
They are not written in stone.
For every sin, there is a polar opposite virtue.
An episode of Blossom had the sins as its central theme - especially sloth.
The 1995 movie 'Seven' also focused on the sins.
