    At 18 years, 2 month and 9 days, he is the youngest player in NHL history to get his name engraved on the Stanley Cup, prior to the implementation of the NHL Draft (1955).
    In addition to his six Stanley Cup rings, he won championships in both the AHL and WHA.
    He is among a select handful of players in NHL history to have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup with 3 or more teams
    He was the brother of former NHL players Wayne and Floyd Hillman and the uncle of former NHL forward Brian Savage.
