He blew Team Canada's chances of winning a gold medal at the World Juniors by faltering in the gold medal game both times.
His gaffe in the dying minutes allowed the United States to win their first World Juniors gold medal in a comeback victory (2004).
He wears bright yellow goaltending equipment.
He has crooked teeth.
He was 4-14-2 during his rookie season with the Penguins.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the third goaltender to be drafted, 1st overall.
Along with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal are considered the cornerstones of the Pens youth movement.
He is a fundamentally sound goaltender.
He plays butterfly style goaltending.
