She claimed to be Indian but her parents were Welsh.
She abused barbiturates and alcohol.
She reportedly left her infant son locked in the car while she confronted Brando in his office.
She kidnapped Christian from school and took him to Mexico (1972).
At the time of Christian's manslaughter trial, the press found her living in a trailer.

Brando told her he married her only because she was pregnant.
