    Despite striking out 25, she gave up a home run in the 13th inning of a 2000 Olympic game. The loss put the U.S. in a position where they were forced to win all five of the remaining games to win the Gold (they did).
    When she was 11, her mother stop practicing with her, because Lisa threw too hard.

    In 1993, her ERA was 0.51 and her batting average was .510.
    She also plays third base almost error free.
    Her strong desire to play softball began at eight.
    She was selected #55 by Sports Illustrated for Women's Century's Greatest Sportswomen.
