They are Christians and speak out against sex and violence in the media.
Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr married, went to E.S.T. training and embarked on a career apart from the 5th Dimension (1975).
McCoo and Davis continued their solo career, but still collaborated with the 5th Dimension.
Their medley, 'Declaration/A Change Is Gonna Come/People Got To Be Free,' was performed in front of President Nixon and it caused controversy.
It was a combination of the reading of the Declaration of Independence with the realization that some people were not entirely free.
Why they might not be annoying
