    There were accusations that ‘Eres Tu’ lifted its melody from ‘Brez Besed,’ the 1966 Eurovision entry from Yugoslavia.
    They were one-hit wonders in the US.
    Javier Garay and Izaskun Uranga each lead rival bands usings the Mocedades name.

Why they might not be annoying:

    Although one-hit wonders in the US, they remained big in Spain and Latin America.
    They collaborated with Placido Domingo.
    ’Eres Tu’ was inducted into the Latin Grammy Hall of Fame (2013).
    In a poll by broadcaster RTVE, ‘Eres Tu’ was named Spain’s all-time best entry at Eurovision (2020).
