Why he might be annoying:

He has recorded three prank call CD's (there's a dying genre!).
Some of his comedy invokes toilet humor (for example referencing ‘skid marks’ in a joke about the Trump administration).
He roasted the NBA for not mandating the Covid vaccinations, ‘while also forcing young black men to live in Utah’ (which… what?).
He lost his blue checkmark after not paying for it during Elon Musk’s verification purge of Twitter (where he incidentally goes by the screenname ‘Roy Wood Jr - Ex Jedi’).

Why he might not be annoying:

He began his career in stand-up comedy as the opening act for Tommy Davidson.
He made his network television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2006.
He was one of the top three finalists on Last Comic Standing in 2010.
He was honored at Entertainment Weekly's ‘12 Rising Stars of Comedy’ in 2008.
He was brought on to the Daily Show after Jon Stewart’s exit, when it became The Daily Show with Trevor Noah (he stayed for the host’s entire run).

He has performed on numerous USO tours for troops in the Middle East and the Pacific Islands.
