The Resume

    (June 8, 1993- )
    Born in Missouri
Team United States in track and field, hammer throw category
    5 ft 8 in (1,72 m); 240 lb (109 kg)
    NACAC Championships silver (71,27 m, 2015) and gold (74,6, 2018) medals
    2017 DecaNation silver medalist (70,6 m)
    2019 World Championship gold medalist (77,54 m)

Why she might be annoying:

Confusion abounds as to whether her exact birth location is in St. Charles or Moscow Mills (which are in different counties despite being neighboring jurisdictions).
She claimed to be able to bicycle without training wheels… at age three!
A messed-up swing on her first try – when the handle bopped her in the forehead – led her to nearly swear off picking up another hammer ever again.
During practice at a Navy base, the nets had become sufficiently defective that her hammer toss nearly decommissioned Allyson Felix.
    She has only one kidney.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was on the high school softball team – another sport in which she got college scholarship offers – eventually reaching All-State status.
She regards hunting as an interest.
Her first competitive medal came two weeks after a fourth-place finish at that year’s Pan-American Games.
At the Olympic trials for Tokyo (2021), her throw of more than 263 ft (80 m) placed her second of all time among female hammer throwers (too bad, Karens).
Throughout those Olympics, it would have been very easy – and justifiable – for her to act as numerous USA representatives did. Instead, she was unfailingly cheerful and grateful.
