They lost their first game.

Their fans embraced their team the second time around.
They had the luxury of picking high in three dispersal drafts before their inaugural season.
They made the playoffs in their inaugural season.
When they had a chance to name the team, many Boston area fans opted for the Blazer name to pay homage to the city's previous team.
