Murderer

The Resume

    (May 26, 1954-October 25, 2006)
Murder spree started on August 26, 1990
Killed five students at the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, FL.
Previously murdered three people in Shreveport, LA.

Why he might be annoying:

He was an incredibly savage and merciless killer, often stabbing, slashing and mutilating his young victims.
He posed the female victims' corpses in obscene sexual gestures for maximum shock value.
One victim, Christa Hoyt, was beheaded.
Another man, Edward Humphrey, was initially the Gainesville PD's prime suspect for his history of violent behavior on the campus (he had assaulted his grandmother while the murders were occurring, and some said he had a knife - the type of weapon used in the murders).
Daniel was hiding out in the woods near campus, and he left a taped message for the authorities when they found his hideout.
At his trial, he claimed to be possessed by two different demonic spirits.
He had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.
His victims were killed days apart from each other.
He brought a lot of chaos to the once-peaceful community of Gainesville, and immense pain and anguish to the families of his victims.
During his trial, he confessed to three additional murders committed previously in Shreveport, LA.
He was previously in prison, so he murdered 8 people(the five students in Florida and the three murders in Louisiana) as retribution for the 8 years he spent incarcerated, or 'one person for each year' as he allegedly had thought.

Why he might not be annoying:

He suffered extreme psychological and physical abuse at the hands of his father when he was very young.
He suffered with a personality disorder which made him appear vastly immature for his age.
At his trial, he seemed genuinely remorseful for what he had done.
He was convicted on all counts of murder and was sentenced to death.
