He's criticized for not being able to (or wanting to) read or write standard music notation.
His name is often mispronounced (should be pronounced with a hard ‘g' sound, as in ‘angle').
On the ‘Chariots of Fire' soundtrack, the popular theme song was simply called ‘Titles.'
He is rather reclusive and rarely grants interviews.
Like many Greek Gods before him, he goes by the presumptuous single name.
