Football Coach

The Resume

    (December 31, 1981- )
    Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Served in various special teams coaching positions for the New England Patriots (2012-19)
Head coach for the New York Giants (2020-21)

Why he might be annoying:

He is extremely smug and arrogant.
He frequently relied on doing trick plays.
He posted a 10-23 record in his two seasons as the Giants head coach.
He was another one of Bill Belichick's apprentices who was unable to make a significant impact as a head coach.
He didn't have the balls to tell his coaching staff he got fired by the Giants himself, he had one of his assistants relay the message to the others through text.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of the coaching staff on five different championship teams (2 in the NCAA, 3 in the NFL).
He was hired by the Giants, largely on the strength of his team-first building approach.
He excelled as a special teams coach during his eight years with the Patriots.
He was known to employ a no-nonsense approach, and wasn't afraid to chew out his players when needed to.
He was able to impress the New York media, by saying he wanted to bring the Giants back to prominence (and sadly he didn't have enough time to do so).
