    Played King Herod in the highly successful Australian production of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’
    Also appeared in ‘Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome’ with Mel Gibson
    Worked as a youth advocate

    He didn’t very well in school and began to shock people with strange clothes and hairstyles.
    He caused controversy when he spoke out about his views about Muslim immigration to Australia.
    With Rose Tattoo he released the song ‘Legalise Realise’ as a campaign to legalize marijuana.
    He kissed his band mate Mick Cocks during a performance, causing them to banned from TV’s Countdown.
    He said of the incident, ‘We laughed it off because we thought it was the best publicity you could ever have. I've been kissing blokes all my life. I rode motorcycles and I played football, you know, kissing blokes is just second nature’
    He often performs in sleeveless overalls or wife beater shirts.
