Why he might be annoying:

His song, 'Driven By You,' became a hit after it was featured in a Ford car commercial.
He dropped out of his PhD program to join Queen.
He left his original wife to go out with the British soap opera actress, Anita Dobson, leaving behind three children with his original wife.
He is reportedly a vegetarian.

Why he might not be annoying:

He learned to play the ukelele and piano when he was young and soon got a guitar for his seventh birthday.
His father helped him make a guitar when he was a kid and after two years, they finished it and it went on to become Brian's trademark of his music career.
He used a sixpence coin as a guitar pick, which was out of circulation at the time and he got the Royal Mint to make more for him.
He influenced Billy Corgan, Slash and Phil Collen of Def Leppard.
Some of the songs he wrote were big hits for Queen ('We Will Rock You,' 'Tie Your Mother Down' and 'Fat Bottomed Girls').
He's currently working on an astronomy book and writing music for films, TV shows and theater productions.
He's influenced by Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, Jimmy Page and Buddy Holly.
