Why he might be annoying:

He changed his name from ‘Barrie’ to ‘Barriemore.’
He looks like a stoned lumberjack.
He sometimes wore a kilt.
For some reason, he played with Yngwie J. Malmsteen.
As part of a stage act, he and Martin Barre would jump into a children’s tent and come out wearing each other’s clothes.
In 1980, he, John Evan, and Dee Palmer were fired from Jethro Tull.

Why he might not be annoying:

His closest friend and band mate, John Glascock, died in 1979.
When asked about being fired, he said that he had already quit.
He has played with big shots like Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and George Harrison.
He owns a recording studio and has brought in popular acts like Bad Company, Asia and Gary Moore.
