The Resume

    (July 12, 1957- )
    Born in Los Angeles, California
Birth name was Lucius Fisher Foster IV
    Older brother of Jodie Foster
Portrayed Mike Jones in 'Mayberry R.F.D.' (1968-71)
Appeared in the films 'Angel in My Pocket' (1969), 'Sixteen' (1972), and 'Foxes' (1980)
Wrote the memoir 'Foster Child' (1997)

Why he might be annoying:

He provided the voice of the boy opposite Mr. Owl in Tootsie Pop's famed 'How Many Licks Does It Take?' commercial, but it is often miscredited to Peter Robbins.
He portrayed a 'wolf boy' in an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man.
He became addicted to morphine, which he described as 'as good as an orgasm, or more.'
He shot himself in an unsuccessful suicide attempt (1988).
Jodie said his memoir was 'motivated solely by greed and sour grapes.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He said that growing up his sisters 'used to call me a faggot and beat me up.'
His potential comeback in 'Foxes' was scuttled when Jodie was cast as the female lead and the producers, apparently uncomfortable with having siblings cast as lovers, bumped him from male lead to a role without a name ('boy in car').
He claimed that his mother Brandy spent $400,000 that he had earned as a child star.
He became a construction worker after completing rehab.
