Attorney

The Resume

    (circa 1949- )
    Resident of Washington, DC
    Administrative judge
Sued Custom Cleaners for $54 million for losing his pants (June 12-25, 2007)

Why he might be annoying:

His demands included $500,000 for legal fees (even though he was representing himself), $2 million in mental distress and $15,000 to rent cars to go to a different dry cleaner.
He said the remaining $51.5 million would be used to help other dissatisfied DC consumers sue businesses (because apparently there just aren't enough frivolous lawsuits).
He cried on the stand describing his lost pants.
In court he said, 'There is no case in the District of Columbia or in the United States that comes anywhere close to the outrageousness of the defendants in this case.'
The lawsuit cost the defendants $10-20,000 in legal fees.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He lost the case.
He was ordered to pay the defendants' court costs of $1,000.
He initially filed suit for $67 million, but apparently realized that was just being greedy.
