    When she was named YouTube CEO, the New York Times ran a photo of her sister Anne by mistake: 'The actually had a picture of both of us, and they cut me out.'
    Several advertisers withdrew from YouTube after finding their ads attached to offensive videos, ranging from white supremacist rants to ISIL recruiting (2017).
    Her subsequent tightening of YouTube policies against hate speech has been accused of driving out 'edgy' content.
    An investigation by the Federal Trade Commission found that YouTube had violated data privacy laws by collecting information on children under 13 (2018).
    She won a Free Expression Award from the Freedom Forum Institute (2021) -- which might be more impressive if the Freedom Forum wasn't sponsored by YouTube.
