Current members include Don Dokken (vocals), Jon Levin (guitars), Barry Sparks (bass) and Mick Brown (drums)
Former members include Jeff Pilson and George Lynch
Has released 'Breaking the Chains', 'Tooth and Nail', 'Under Lock and Key', 'Back the Attack', 'Dysfunctional', 'Shadowlife', 'Erase the Slate', 'Long Way Home', 'Hell to Pay' and 'Lightning Strikes Again'

Why they might be annoying:

They have had a high turnover amongst band members.
They were heavy alcohol and drug abusers.
Several of their songs contained drug references.
They inspired the catch phrase 'Rokken like Dokken!"
They've never had a hit single in the US.
Don Dokken always enters the stage in sunglasses and with a black cigarette.

Don Dokken later said, 'Drugs, alcohol and ego. They are a bad mix.'
Their band members have appeared as guest musicians for other bands.
Some band members have returned to the band after leaving.
They were able to achieve minor success internationally before becoming popular in the US.
Mick Brown provides backing vocals, making him one of the few singing drummers in music.
