Home to the Field of Dreams baseball diamond.
It is nicknamed 'The Farm Toy Capital of the World.'
Most people only know about it cause of the movie 'Field of Dreams.'
Unless you are either involved in farming or a baseball fan, there is not a lot to do here.
It has extremely hot summers and cold winters.
Its economy relies heavily on the agriculture sector.
It was initially supposed to hold the Field of Dreams game in 2020 between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees, but was postponed due to the late start of the abbreviated season.
When the Yankees couldn't make it due to no inter-division play, the replacement opponent, the St. Louis Cardinals suffered a mass COVID-19 outbreak on the team, which cancelled the game altogether.
It is home to the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier, one of the largest parishes in the United States located outside a major centre.
It hosts the National Farm Toy Museum, which was considered the city's main attraction prior to the release of 'Field of Dreams.'
It is home to two National Farm Toy shows; one is held in June and the other in November.
The farm where 'Field of Dreams' was filmed became a tourist attraction after the film's release.
It finally held the Field of Dreams game between the White Sox and the Yankees, a year later then originally scheduled.
The game proved to be enough of a success that Major League Baseball said they would make it an annual event.
