Found in Luxor (Valley of the Kings) by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon in 1922

Why he might be annoying:

Basically, the only reason he is famous is because his tomb was found in perfect condition.
A month after it was found, Lord Carnarvon was bitten by a mosquito and became ill. This lead people to believe that his tomb was cursed.
Some people believe that anthrax spores were in the tomb and that contributed to the death of Lord Carnarvon. This was later proven wrong because other people entered the tomb and did not get sick.
The burial of his body and his possessions took 70 days.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is one of the most well known kings.
Chariots, weapons, jewelry and a large sum of gold were found in the Pyramid containing his tomb.
Steve Martin's song 'King Tut' is based on him.
He became king when he was 8 and was killed when he was 18.
He was assassinated.
