    Author of the books 'Don’t Be Denied,' 'Enough is Enough' and 'Winning Through Persistence'

Why he might be annoying:

    He goes by his first and middle initials.
    He played on three different teams, prior to signing with the Pistons following the NBA-ABA merger.
    His signing with the Celtics led some basketball pundits to believe he disrupted the balance of power in the NBA, as the Celtics became a powerhouse, while the Pistons regressed dramatically afterwards.
    His head coaching tenure with the Celtics was considered an ultimate disaster, as he posted a 48-116 record in his two seasons as head coach and general manager.
    He holds the dubious distinction of having the lowest winning percentage amongst the Celtics head coaches.
