Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
Drafted 22nd overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the Edmonton Oilers (2005-10), Tampa Bay Lightning (2010-11) and the Phoenix Coyotes (2011-12)

Why he might be annoying:

He was unable to live up to his potential in the NHL.
He struggled to stay healthy during his tenure with the Oilers, suffering from ranges of various ailments.
He played on three different teams in his last three NHL seasons.
His draft selection looked bad, given the fact the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft saw the likes of Marc-Andre Fleury, Eric Staal, Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and Zach Parise among others get drafted.
Some hockey pundits felt his stay in Edmonton lasted longer then it should have, due to the team's relaxed approach to player development.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered one of the few bright spots on a poor Rimouski team.
He voluntarily switched to the wing when Sidney Crosby joined the team.
He was able to revive his hockey career in the Swiss leagues.
He was a member of two Spengler Cup winning Canadian national teams (2012, 2016).
He was Crosby's primary setup man during the latter's first few seasons in Rimouski.
