They backed Charo on the 1977 release 'Cuchi-Cuchi.'
'Christmas Jollies' was a disco yuletide album. (Really?)
Other theme recordings included forays into creating danceable covers of the score from alien film 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' and smooth jazz remakes.
The crux of the orchestra came from MFSB musicians mad at producers Gamble and Huff over money.

Dance divas Loleatta Holloway, Linda Clifford and First Choice collaborated with the group.
The orchestra was noted for melding Latin grooves, Disco and Philly Soul.
Interest in their unique sound was revived when Black Box illegally sampled 'Love Sensation' and Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch legally used the same tune.
