    He recorded albums on eleven different labels, walking out on four of them over creative differences.

    His mainstream debut album 'Desperate Dreams' recorded five singles.
    He combined country, Cajun, blues and rock to create a unique sound to his music.
    His song 'Thank God For Kids' is among the most popular country themed Christmas songs.
    He worked at a record store full-time during the recording of his debut album, 'That Cajun Country Sound.'
    Despite his commercial popularity declining in the 1990's, he still performs in his home state of Louisiana.
