Why Marshall Islands might be annoying:

It does not have a National Olympic Committee.
A test bomb with Rita Hayworth's picture on it was dropped on the Marshall Islands' Bikini atoll (July 1946).
Some of its islands are contaminated from nuclear testing and many of its inhabitants have been afflicted with radiation poisoning.
Its people have embraced American junk food.

The tiny swimsuit, called the bikini, is named after Bikini atoll.
The beaches have white sand and turquoise water.
