    Her name was also spelled as 'de LaMotte' and 'DeLaMotte' in credits.
    She was separated from her first husband, actor John Bowers, when he committed suicide.
    She divorced her second husband, attorney Sidney Rivkin.
    She appeared in only four talking films.
