The Resume

    (February 18, 1958 BC- )
    Resides in Tampa, Florida
Founded the non-profit organization Bill Keller Ministries in June 1993
Founded Liveprayer.com in August 1999 as a part of Bill Keller Ministries
Host of the Tampa, Florida based live overnight TV call-in show 'Live Prayer'

Why he might be annoying:

He became a Christian at age 12, then started a highly successful small business during his days at Ohio State University and (in his own words) 'ran away from God.'
He was a rich business owner in the 1980s until he was arrested in 1987 for insider trading.
He was convicted in 1989 and served 33 months in prison following a plea bargain.
He now says he can relate to Martha Stewart because he 'was once in her shoes.'
He became a born-again Christian (again) while in prison and founded Bill Keller Ministries in June 1993 following his release.
He moved to Tampa to help create the Christian show 'You And Me' on a Christian network (1994), then much like Joan Rivers, started his own show running against it in the same time slot (2003).
He claims that Live Prayer has had over 60,000 known cases of people becoming born-again Christians through the website and the TV show.
He claims that he's open-minded, yet he calls being pro-choice 'pro-murder.'
He claims that everyone of every other belief, even Christian Scientists (who believe in the same God as he does) are going to Hell.
He always needs donations to keep his show on the air and has yet to be able to syndicate the show to every part of the country.
He frequently gloats about his website being 'the world's largest interactive Christian website,' and sometimes takes up to 20 minutes of his hour-long show bragging about it.
On his website, one message states 'Share the hope and love of Jesus Christ with hurting people.' If someone takes the word 'hurting' to be a verb, the meaning is completely wrong for a Christian website.
On May 1, 2004, he launched a '40 Days of Prayer and Fasting' period to 'pray for the forgiveness of America.' He even went as far as to stand in front of the White House on May 1 and pray for hours.
Some way or another, he was able to get 3,000,000 people (one percent of the entire country) to participate in this 40-day event.
    He divorced his first wife.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He graduated Ohio State University.
He has been married to the same woman for over 20 years.
He apparently gets a lot of people to believe everything that he says.
He is extremely committed to what he does, and he has put his life into it for years now.
He has the intestinal fortitude (or stupidity) to go on non-Christian (or 'secular') TV and share his religious beliefs, saying that hosts of shows on Christian TV 'run and hide.'
He is not afraid to argue with those who don't share his beliefs, especially on the air.
In Tampa, Florida, despite not all viewers being religious or being fans of his, he beats Conan O'Brien and Craig Kilborn in the Nielsen ratings.
He broadcasts his show on a live internet feed for those who don't get it on TV, and he rebroadcasts it twice the following day.
He reaches 2,000,000 people a day via the internet.
