Football Coach

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

His record at Wake Forest was 26–63 in seven seasons as head coach.
He was a coaching nomad in the college ranks prior to accepting the Wake Forest coaching job.
Rather then work under incoming Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden, he left the Bucs after one season to join the Colts coaching staff.
He came under fire by Colts fans after pulling all his starters in the second half of a game against the New York Jets, in a move which cost the team a chance at going for a perfect season (2009).
He watched his team blow a 10-0 lead in Super Bowl XLIV, which eventually cost them the game.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was Tony Dungy's hand-picked successor.
He holds the NFL record for best start by a rookie head coach after guiding the Colts to a 14-2 record during his first season at the helm.
His coaching style is viewed as being more teaching fundamentals rather than intimidation.
He is the fifth NFL head coach to guide his team to a Super Bowl game during his first season.
Despite his shortcomings at Wake Forest, his notable achievement was guiding the Deacons to an Aloha Bowl victory (1999).
