    Born in Fordham, Pennsylvania
    Head coach for the Portland Trail Blazers (1994-97), Golden State Warriors (1997-99), Seattle SuperSonics (2007-08), Oklahoma City Thunder (2008) and the Brooklyn Nets
    Associate coach for the San Antonio Spurs (2002-07)

Why he might be annoying:

    He looks like a vagrant.
    His teams failed to reach the same pinnacle of success following his rookie NBA coaching season.
    Most casual fans remember him for being attacked by Latrell Sprewell in practice.
    He lived in his father's shadow during his coaching career in the college ranks.
    He was fired by the Warriors after leading the team to a 9-21 start (1999).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He helped revitalize the Seton Hall Pirates basketball program.
    He coached the Pirates to the NCAA March Madness championship game (1989).
    He was an assistant coach for the 'Dream Team' (1992).
    After spending a year out of basketball, he served as an assistant coach on Gregg Popovich's staff, earning three NBA championship rings in the process.
    He is the son of former Fordham University athletic director Peter Carlesimo.
