Why he might be annoying:

His art panders to the MAGA-Alt Right demographic.
His symbolism is so partisan it borders on propaganda.
He came to prominence during the Obama Presidency and really took off during the Trump Presidency.
His best selling painting, ‘The Forgotten Man,’ depicts Barack Obama stepping on the Constitution with George Washington and all other former presidents glaring at him disdainfully.
He tries to have it both ways by depicting Trump in almost god-like terms in his paintings, but still claiming to not be an actual Trump supporter.

His artwork images regularly go viral.
He went on a Latter Day Saints mission to Japan as a student.
He generally prefers watching BBC and Al-Jazeera over Fox News.
Rachel Maddow held a caption contest ‘The Forgotten Man’ painting and it led to an increase in sales.
Sean Hannity may have paid up to $300,000 for the original ‘Forgotten Man’ painting.
He has stated that he doesn't intend to ‘trigger liberals’ with his artwork, but rather ‘to inspire.’
