Drafted 16th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the Montreal Canadiens (1989-91), New Jersey Devils (1991-95), Ottawa Senators (1995-97), New York Islanders (1997-98), Washington Capitals (1998-99), Calgary Flames (1999) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (1999-2000)

Why he might be annoying:

He didn't live up to his draft billing with the Canadiens, which factored into the team's decision to trade him.
He was a journeyman player.
He played on five teams in a five year span following his departure from the Devils.
He was the last player cut from the 1988 United States Olympic men's hockey team.
He struggled with injuries during the later stages of his career.

He earned Mr. Hockey honors during his senior year of high school.
He earned WCHA First All-Star Team honors during his senior year at the University of Minnesota.
He, along with Stéphane Richer were traded to New Jersey for Kirk Muller and Rollie Melanson in a deal that benefitted both ubs in the 1990's.
He was a member of the Devils first Stanley Cup championship team (1995).
He was one of the veteran leaders on the Senators team that made their first Stanley Cup playoffs appearance in the modern era.
