    He was a journeyman player.
    He played on five teams in a five year span following his departure from the Devils.
    He was the last player cut from the 1988 United States Olympic men's hockey team.

    He earned WCHA First All-Star Team honors during his senior year at the University of Minnesota.

    He was a member of the Devils first Stanley Cup championship team (1995).
    He was one of the veteran leaders on the Senators team that made their first Stanley Cup playoffs appearance in the modern era.
