Outlaw

The Resume

    (June 14, 1980- )
    Born in Dickinson, New York
    Convicted of first-degree murder
Made headlines by breaking out of Clinton Correctional Facility with Richard Matt (June 6, 2015)
Captured June 28, 2015 after three weeks plus a day on the run

Why he might be annoying:

At 17, he was sentenced to four years in prison for attempted burglary.
His first-degree murder conviction was the result of the killing of a police officer in 2003.
He allegedly had intimate relations with married prison worker Joyce Mitchell, the prison tailor who admitted she used frozen meat to smuggle tools for him and his prison break partner.
Mitchell was approximately 16 years his senior.
He and Matt intended to head for Canada.
He abused his honor block privileges to create and plan his escape route.
After his shooting and capture, he was hospitalized for a week then transferred to a different correctional facility.

Why he might not be annoying:

His and his prison break partner's names make up 'Sweat-Matt.'
Before his escape, he was in the prison's honor block which gave him special privileges including cooking his own meals, freedom to walk around in certain areas, wearing normal clothing etc.
He turned 35 on Day 9 of his hiding.
He abandoned his prison break partner as he felt Matt was slowing him down.
Like Matt, he took bullets at the end of his fugitive run but, unlike Matt, he survived.
He slightly resembles singer Chris Martin.
Online information on his background suggests he grew up without his father.
He was found almost 48 hours after Matt was shot and killed.
He was only two miles from the Canadian border when he was shot and captured.
