Why Kenosha, Wisconsin might be annoying:

Its NFL franchise, the Kenosha Maroons, folded after going 0-4-1 (1924).
Its economy was based on auto manufacturing until the factories closed down.
It evolved into a bedroom community, with nearly half its work force commuting to outside of Kenosha County.
A police shooting led to riots and arson that caused $50 million in damages and required deployment of the Wisconsin National Guard (August, 2020).
During the riots, 17-year-old vigilante wannabe Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people, killing two (August 25, 2020).

Why Kenosha, Wisconsin might not be annoying:

It was originally known as Pike Creek and adopted its current name from the Chippewa word for pike, 'kinoje.'
It was the first city to color code its bus routes (1932).
Tool maker Snap-On and clothing manufacturer Jockey International have their headquarters here.
It attracted a large influx of former Illinois residents due to its lower taxes and reduced housing costs.
It is home to many craft breweries and hosted the Great Lakes Brew Fest (2021).
When Rittenhouse was found not guilty on grounds of self-defense (November 19, 2021), it did not trigger a new round of rioting.
