Why he might be annoying:

    He played for six different teams.
    He likes to golf in his spare time.
    He went 0-19 in all five games of the 2013 NLDS.
    Despite being a hometown hero, he was unceremoniously traded by the Pirates as the team didn't want to give him a long-term contract when he reached arbitration.
    He was one of two major league players who lived at home with his parents during the 2010 season.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was the second Pirates player, after Roberto Clemente to hit a grand slam on Opening Day (2011).
    He was an integral part of the Pirates resurgence after spending three decades of futility.
    He attended the 1994 MLB All-Star Game in Pittsburgh, in which he obtained autographed baseballs from both Ken Griffey, Jr. and Frank Thomas, which he considers his most prized possessions.
    He broke Bill Mazeroski's franchise for home runs by a second baseman in a single season (2014).
    He is the son of former Pirate Tom Walker, and fulfilled a childhood dream by playing for the same franchise his father did.
