    She considered quitting tennis after a run of ten straight opening round losses in 2006.
    She was leading Justine Henin in the US Open semifinals 6-4, 4-2, when she got into an argument about a service call with the chair umpire, then proceded to drop 10 straight games to lose the match (2006).
    Her #1 Women's Tennis Association ranking (18 weeks in 2008-09) was controversial, since she had not won any Grand Slam tournaments.
    One of her nicknames is 'Jelly.'

    She speaks Serbian, English and French.
    She was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Serbia (2007).
    She was the first player to beat both Venus and Serena Williams in the same year (2006).
    She was named the WTA's 'Most Improved Player' (2006).
